Yea... I especially liked the Plaistow Flexout and Metteng Excuse viddies. I always imagined that Bonneville Occident could have a really awesome animation in the vein of the Tom & Jerry cartoons. I know the time span given for the contest wouldn't really allow for an elaborate character animation based video to be completed in time, but goddamn that would have been cool. The T&J cartoons always had insane music with all kinds of starts and stops that corresponded to the imagery on the screen. Bonneville Occident would be an awesome musical accompaniment for an updated contemporary IDM stylee Tom and Jerry. Maybe with different characters. Or something. -Aaron ----- Original Message ----- From: Ben Kirkley <ben.kirkley@displaypost.co.uk> Date: Friday, August 3, 2001 9:35 am Subject: Re: [idm] Squarepusher video competition finalists (warning: Self promo included)
